|Fifth Annual Harvest Festival - Recruiting Artists and Craftsmen|
October 8, 2013, Gulf Shores, AL (GSA) - The fifth annual "Harvest - A Festival of Gifts" organizing committee is currently recruiting local artists and craftsmen to sell hand-made works at this event. We highly encourage anyone with unique, original and creative art to apply.
The Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 2. The festival is proud to showcase original works by local artists and craftsmen and is from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Gulf Shores United Methodist Church Mother's Day Out and Preschool Ministry.
Examples of exhibitor booths needed are - but not limited to - ceramics, pottery, drawing, painting, sewing, monogramming, glass, jewelry, metal or wood art and photography. The Harvest is meant to honor and support our local artist while offering a variety of special holiday gifts to the community. Winn-Dixie in Gulf Shores will be providing great food specials during the Festival, with some tasty meals to go.
This is a great way to get a jump start on Holiday shopping, while also enjoying a great silent auction, tasty sweet shop and taking part in free holiday digital family photos.
Vendor applications are being accepted through Oct. 14. Vendor spaces will be $35. For a vendor application or for more information regarding the Harvest, please visit www.gulfshoresumc.org/children, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, call 251-968-4328 or follow us on Facebook at The Harvest - A Festival of Gifts.
This event will be at the South Campus of the Gulf Shores United Methodist Church (Winn-Dixie Shopping Center). Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
