GULF SHORES, Alabama –
For a second season in a row, tourism officials and business owners are basking in what appears to be another record breaking season. “We’re hearing a lot of wonderful reports from our lodging, restaurants and attractions throughout the area,” says visitors center spokesperson Kim Chapman. “So far for spring, we have our numbers in, and we are up about 18 percent in lodging tax revenue.”
